Larry Richardson (shown at left, NOT in South Texas) has been a top birding guide for more than 20 years with experience organizing and leading tours to the hottest birding spots in the US (South Texas, Southeast AZ, CA, ME, OH, Niagara Falls, FL, Atlantic Coast, Rocky Mountains, Prairie Pothole region, Great Lakes), New World Tropics (Trinidad and Tobago, Peru, Costa Rica, Panama, Mexico, Venezuela, Galapagos, Ecuador), as well as Vietnam, Kenya and East Africa.   He has planned trips for groups both large and small,  and has served as a senior leader for such companies as Sabrewing Tours and Chautauqua Backroads.  His world bird life list stands at 2,301 species.  Although an avid birder since his youth, Larry had to do other things for some years serving as a ranger and park manager for Ohio State Parks, Director of Arcadia Lake Park in Oklahoma, and Executive Director of the Lake Erie Nature and Science Center (22 years).
